Sustainable Solutions

Sustainability and social equity are the foundational pillars of all Clinic activities. At JSW Law, we believe that environmental protection and social justice are inseparable. The Clinic challenges students to design policy recommendations that balance the needs of the planet with economic growth and community well-being. Using an equity-first lens, our students advocate for the populations most vulnerable to climate change. A prime example of this is our work on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), where students present best practices directly to the industrial sector. By engaging with policymakers and state agencies, our students don’t just study law—they help write it, ensuring that academic research translates into practical, sustainable change for Bhutan and beyond.
